NL: Kato De Boeck studeerde in 2018 af als filmregisseur op het RITCS. In haar jeugd ontdekte ze tijdens toneellessen een groeiende passie voor verhalen en regie waardoor ze besloot een filmopleiding te volgen.
Gefascineerd door eerlijke en pure cinema behaalde ze haar masterdiploma met haar autobiografische kortfilm ‘Provence’.
EN: Kato De Boeck is a Belgian film director who graduated in February 2018 at the film school RITCS, School of Arts in Brussels. She was born in 1994 and grew up in a small town near Brussels, where she found her passion during drama classes: storytelling. Intrigued by honest emotions and pure cinema, she finished her master program in film directing with her autobiographical graduation film ‘Provence’ with great distinction.
